Portico

Portico è un nuovo progetto dell’azienda che inaugura una nuova fase. Prende ispirazione dalle forme grandiose e curve dei portici dei nobili palazzi, che nel corso dei secoli sono state oggetto di studio di architetti e artisti. Il suo obiettivo centrale è quello di evocare un senso di meraviglia, simile alla sensazione che si prova ammirando dei portici durante una passeggiata in centro città.

La base in metallo, con le sue incisioni e pieghe è composto da due elementi distinti, il design trasuda semplicità offrendo prospettive diverse a seconda dell’angolazione da cui si guarda. L’uso del pregiato rovere termotrattato per il legno aggiunge un tocco di calore ed eleganza che caratterizzano il tavolo. Portico è realizzato con cura in tre diverse dimensioni, per soddisfare diverse preferenze ed esigenze.

Portico, a novel venture by the Second Studio, marks the beginning of a new phase for furniture design. It is inspired by the grand and curved forms of noble city porticoes, which over the centuries have been the subject of study by architects and artists. Its central objective is to evoke a sense of wonder, akin to the feeling experienced while admiring arcades during a leisurely stroll through the city center.

The metal base, adorned with incisions and folds, is composed by two distinct elements, the design exudes simplicity while offering diverse perspectives depending on the viewing angle. The use of exquisite heat-treated oak for the wood adds a touch of warmth and elegance to the overall appeal. Portico is thoughtfully crafted in three different sizes, catering to various preferences and requirements
